According to the special emphasis of Dr. Mohammad Mokhber Head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO), a number of 10,000 social-based employment plans will be created by Barakat Foundation in six flood-affected provinces of the country [including Khuzestan, Lorestan, Ilam, Golestan, Mazandaran and Fars province] According to the Public Relations Dept. of the Barakat Foundation, in order to solve a part of problem of people affected by flood. These new employment opportunities will be set up and created by Barakat Foundation in the current Iranian calendar year in 1398 (started March 21, 2019), the Public Relations Department of Barakat Foundation reported.

Some 4,000 billion rials worth of credit has been considered by the Foundation for creating these 10,000 employment opportunities in the aforementioned provinces.

It is predicted that 3,300 jobs of which will be generated in Khuzestan province. Moreover, 3,000 and 2,000 jobs will be created in the provinces of Lorestan and Golestan respectively.

Of total 10,000 employment plans, 1,000, 200 and 500 jobs will be created in the flood-hit provinces of Ilam, Fars and East Mazandaran respectively.

It should be noted that Barakat Foundation, affiliated to the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) has focused on generating employment in order to eradicate depravity and empower socioeconomic activities of people in less developed and disadvantaged areas of the country seriously in a way that the Foundation has so far created 227,000 new employment opportunities in these areas, the report added.

Generally speaking, Barakat Foundation has put a generation of employment in less developed and underprivileged areas of the country atop agenda.

For this purpose, Barakat Foundation, a subsidiary of EIKO, has defined and implemented a number of models and patterns within the framework of social-based employment plan as follows: “ASEMAN Plan” which refers to the public investment bylaw and employment of manpower. “SAHAB Plan” which refers to the supportive- employment investment of the Foundation. “AFTAB Plan” which refers to a bylaw on the eradication of poverty and boosting capability of the Foundation. “MAHTAB Plan” which refers to HADI Plan to spur economic activities of the Foundation.

It is worth mentioning that Barakat Foundation has put the implementation of the aforementioned plan atop agenda in line with creating employment in the deprived and disadvantaged areas of the country.

“AFTAB Plan” is the fourth plan defined by Barakat Foundation which refers to a bylaw for the eradication of poverty and boosting activities of the Foundation and deals with supporting and sustainability of job-creating plans.
