“The construction operation of this hospital has started in 2011, but by 2015 its physical development was only 12%, but after the contribution of the Barakat Foundation we succeeded to complete it in a very short time. This hospital is built in 4 floors and has 4 operation rooms, internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, and pediatrics wards,” he explained.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Eng. Jafari stressed, “Constriction of this hospital will accelerate and improve the provision of medical and sanitary services to the endeared people of Gharchak County, as people do not anymore need to go to other cities for treatment.”

It is while fortunately, Bahar City’s Barakat Hospital in the Hamedan Province is ready to be opened. Barakat hospitals in Neyriz, Fars Province, and Dezful City in Khuzestan Province will be opened very soon.”

Speaking about the continuance of construction of hospitals across the deprived regions by this foundation, the CEO of Barakat Foundation said, “The strategic and main policy of EIKO in relation with the Barakat Foundation’s missions is employment and economic empowerment in the deprived areas and villages and only 20% of the Barakat Foundation’s capacity will be allocated to the infrastructural projects, which it will be continued.”

“The contribution of Barakat Foundation as the executive arm of EIKO in the eradication of deprivation from the remote and rural areas will be continued as before in employment and working with the entrepreneurs and economic empowerers in both construction and infrastructure sectors,” he added.

Eng. Jafari assessed implementation of launching construction projects as something in the same direction with the job creation policies of Barakat Foundation and said, “With the inauguration of a construction project, e.g. 96-bed hospital of Barkat in Gharchak County, direct and indirect jobs will be created for people who live there.”
