In visit of head of EIKO to this province, 10,000 packages of home appliances were donated by EIKO to the flood-stricken people of this province.

In this regard, 1,886 employment plans, costing 1,584 billion rials, were inaugurated in this province with the capacity of creating 6,000 employment opportunities.

These job-creation plans have been launched in the cities of Khuzestan province such as Dasht-e Azadegan, Hamidieh, Hoveyzeh, Bavi, Khorramshahr, Shadegan, Hendijan, Shoush, Shavar, Andimeshk, Shoushtar, Gotvand, Izeh, Aqajari, Ramhormoz, Meydavood, Omidieh, Behbahan and Karun, etc. within the framework of economic plan of the Foundation entitled “SAHAB” (supportive investment for the generation of job in Barakat Foundation).

This number of job-creation plan has been commissioned in various fields such as raising light- and heavy animals, beekeeping, handicrafts, agriculture, etc.

In his trip to Khuzestan province, Head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order inaugurated 4,237 development projects in Khuzestan province, costing over 550 billion rials. These projects included construction of housing for the needy and deprived people, health house, cultural-religious center, library, water-supply project, road construction, etc.

Of the most important development projects inaugurated by Barakat Foundation in this visit, it should be referred to the participating in construction of 4,000 housing units for the needy and deprived people, costing 150 billion rials.

In the trip of Dr. Mokhber head of EIKO to Khuzestan province, construction operation of 36 development projects [including water-supply project, construction of hospital, school, etc.] started, costing 190 billion rials.

It should be noted that Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) was set up in the country with the approach of “resistance economy” and “booming production” in order to eradicate depravity (poverty), socioeconomic empowerment of people in the less developed and disadvantaged areas of the country, generate more employment opportunities, Dr. Mokhber added.

Statistics show that EIKO has so far generated 25,000 employment opportunities in Khuzestan Province, he added.

Moreover, EIKO has created 8,400 employment opportunities in Khuzestan province, costing over 2,980 rials, with the aim of eradicating deprivation, empowering socioeconomic activities of people, developing entrepreneurship, etc.
