This factory will be constructed by the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), costing 180 billion rials, on a land area as large as 7.1 ha. This industrial and production plant will be active in the field of extracting and packaging medicinal herbs. Products of this factory will be used in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industries.

The timespan needed for commissioning Sarbisheh Medicinal Herbs Producing and Cultivating Factory has been predicted 27 months in a way that all its financial resources will be provided by TADBIR Economic Development Group, affiliated to the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO).

Moreover, all manpower and workforce needed in this industrial and production factory will be employed from native people, some of these employment opportunities have started with the construction operation of this project.

For his part, Managing Director of TADBIR Economic Development Group Dr. Norouzi said, “TADBIR Economic Development Group has invested more than 12,000 billion tomans on this project in order to generate employment in various provinces of the country.”

Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) will spare no effort in dynamicity of economy of the country, he said, adding, “helping generate employment and spurring production and economy are the main objectives of the EIKO.”

TADBIR Economic Development Group will eagerly welcome the participation of entrepreneurs for the development of this industrial and production factory in any part of this province, he said, adding, “when this industrial and production unit is put into operation, we are ready to delegate and transfer this economic project to the people after four years.”

Dr. SeyedHashemi Deputy Head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) for Coordinating Affairs was the next speaker who said, “we will spare no effort to provide the credit needed for the completion of construction operation of this economic project.”

Efforts are underway to finish construction operation of this economic project earlier than the due date, he said, adding, “with the coordination made in this regard, this industrial and production plant will be delivered to farmers in Nov. 2019.”

He emphasized, “by investing in this province, we want to convey this message to entrepreneurs and industrious farmers of the country that Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) is ready to support any entrepreneurship and economic project in the nationwide for booming economic status of the country within the framework of resistance economy.”

In the end, he once again reiterated the EIKO will welcome investors and entrepreneurs eagerly for the materialization of economic objectives throughout the country.

A representative of people of Gachsaran and Basht in the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iranian Parliament) Dr. Tajgardoun was the other speaker in this ceremony who said, “construction of an equipped factory for cultivating and producing medicinal herbs in Gachsaran is the start of a Jihadi movement in line with generating more employment opportunities.”

Considering the high potential and capability of Gachsaran and Basht, cultivation of medicinal herbs in these regions can be profitable for farmers, he emphasized.

Head of Parliament Plan and Budget Commission went on to say that the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) has so far taken valuable and constructive measures throughout the country in line with eradicating poverty, spurring production and generating employment.

The plan for the construction operation of a factory for cultivating and producing medicinal herbs was approved in Oct. 2017, he said, adding, “in this regard, a parcel of land for the construction of this industrial and production plant was provided in the current Iranian month of Farvardin (March 21, 2018).”

The ground will be broken for the construction operation of this industrial and production factory in Sarbisheh Village, Gachsaran city with the participation and investment of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), Tajgardoun observed.

The representative of people of Gachsaran and Basht in the Parliament put the total land area for constructing this project at 10 ha.

This project is located on a land area as large as 7.1 ha, he said and put the factory’s building land area at 5,600 sq.m.

Then, Governor of Gachsaran Eng. Rahimi said, “certainly, implementation of these projects such as the construction of a plant for producing and cultivating medicinal herbs can encourage other investors in launching various development projects in this province and region.”

He reiterated, “construction of a factory for cultivating and producing medicinal herbs in Sarbisheh Village of Gachsaran city will be influential in line with generating employment and boosting economic status of this city significantly.”

Eng. Rahimi went on to say that medicinal herbs’ production factory has been constructed in Sarbisheh Village of Gachsaran with the aim of developing agricultural sector, promoting medicinal and indigenous plants in the region according to the international standards needed in the industry of processing medicinal herbs, changing cultivation pattern in the region with optimal use of water resources and guaranteeing purchase of agricultural products, creating added value for medicinal herbs and meeting a major requirements of the country, etc.
