75 Percent of Barakat Foundation’s Activities Seek for Job Creation
The main and comprehensive approach of Barakat Foundation activities are deprivation eradication, job creation, contribution and investment in the producing initiative and economic empowerment across the deprived and less-developed areas and it must be appreciated.

Dr. Muhammad Reza Rezaie, MP of Jahrom at Islamic Consultative Assembly and head of the Majlis’s construction commission, referred to concentration of Barakat Foundation on job creation agenda as a very important one and said, “The main and comprehensive approach of Barakat Foundation activities are deprivation eradication, job creation, contribution and investment in the producing initiative and economic empowerment across the deprived and less-developed areas and it must be appreciated.”

Speaking at a meeting held for analyzing and pursuing job creation and infrastructural measures done by Barakat Foundation in Jahrom County, Dr. Muhammad Reza Rezaie said, “There is an employment vacuum or gap in our country and paving the way for employing people and providing inexpensive facilities and loans, especially in the rural deprived areas, by entities like Barakat Foundation through support and training job applicants, can play an effective role in improving people’s livelihood condition and helps them to be able to stay in these areas. In fact, the new approach of the Barakat Foundation activities are production, employment and keep people in villages and prevent their migrate from villages to cities.”

MP of Jahrom in Majlis referred to Barakat Foundation as a jihadi and reliable entity and stated, “Currently, we have many incomplete projects across the country, which have been started 20 years ago, and their construction process has been so long that they lost their economic and technical justification. Fortunately, the projects of EIKO and Barakat Foundation not only have the necessary standards, but also have a proper speed and usually are completed in the predicted deadline.”

“Barakat Foundation’s approach is to act in the deprived areas and villages which have received less attention and it is expected that this measures may result on more attention to low-income and vulnerable people who live in the deprived areas who are the main owners of the Islamic Revolution,” he added.

He went to say that fortunately activities of EIKO and Barakat Foundation to eradicate deprivation in these areas are very effective and eye-catching and this foundation is a shelter for people’s MPs, governors and other authorities to which they can resort to solve their problems and they never come back disappointed.

 

In this meeting, also the CEO of Barakat Foundation emphasized that Barakat Foundation has contributed very seriously in job creation area and said, “Although it is considered that Barakat Foundation is mostly active in the construction works, its main approach and nature is job creation and economic empowerment of the deprived and rural parts of the country. 75% of our activities are limited to contribution to the employment arena and the remaining is composed of the constructional projects.”

Eng. Saeed Jafari also stressed, “Seriously we pursue the commitments we have made on job creation and economic contributions field and construction area in Jahrom City and in this meeting these projects were examined and their operation time was determined and set. Accordingly, Barakat Schools will be operationalized by the next February, sanitary houses will be launched within the three coming months and Barakat Mosques can be used by the next October.”

“In this meeting, some good propositions were offered including about production and processing of greenhouse medical herbs which can be invested and implemented in the framework of society-based economic empowerment initiatives of Barakat Foundation”, Eng. Jafari Added.
