According to this report, this insurance policy includes natural (unexpected) events such as fire, explosion, lightning, flood, storm, and earthquake. In case of an incident, EIKO will pay the cost of building, facilities, and furniture of home for a period of one year up to 200 million rials including 150 million rials for building and 50 million rials for furniture.

In this regard, central district governor of Handijan announced, “rural houses of this district have a population of more than 750 households which were put under fire insurance coverage with the help of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO).”

Gholam-Abbas Daneshpajouh District Governor of Hendijan added, “Central district of Hendijan includes 12 villages. Last year, the outbreak of two fire cases at the villages of Zelghi and Imamzadeh Abdullah of Hendijan caused severe financial damages to the owners of these houses.”

He expressed his special thanks to the officials of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to EIKO, for insuring rural houses and said, “with the implementation of job-generating, development and educational plans, Barakat Foundation took giant strides in the field of eradication of deprivation at the villages of Hendijan.”

As located in south part of Khuzestan Province, Hendijan is home to two central districts and Cham Khalaf Isa is considered as one of the important trade and fishing ports in this province.
