30-billion Toman Investments to Improve Employment in Garmsar
Four schools were opened and launched by the head of EIKO in Garmsar County. It was also determined that EIKO is committed to investing in improving employment in the deprived regions of Garmsar.

In a ceremony attended by Dr. Muhammad Mokhber, the head of EIKO, MP of Garmsar and Aradan Counties in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Governor and Friday Prayer Leader of Garmsar, Barakat Foundation’s school project in the Kooshk Village of Garmsar was launched.

With an infrastructure of 654 sq-ms through six classrooms and in a land area of 1930 sq-ms and with a credit of 1 billion and 100 million Tomans, this project has been completed by Barakat Foundation, an affiliated entity of EIKO.

 Also, the head of EIKO opened the project of Girls Conservatory of Barakat in Garmsar which includes 18 classrooms and workshops through two flours with an infrastructure of 2483 sq-ms and credit of 2 billion and 100 million tomans.

In the recent trip of the head of EIKO into Garmsar, two school projects of Barakat, including a 12-classroom school in Eyvanki, with an infrastructure of 1917 sqm and a credit of 2 billion and 400 million tomans, were started.

Talking to the administrative meeting of Garmsar County, Head of EIKO said, “EIKO is seeking for the promotion of employment in various regions and it has been seriously implemented in various provinces of the country.”

In this meeting which was attended by Dr. Muhammad Mokhber, the head of EIKO, MP of Garmsar and Aradan Counties in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Governor and Friday Prayer Leader of Garmsar in the amphitheatre of Garmsar Governorate, Dr. Mokhber said, “Garmsar can be determined as a pilot site for promotion of employment, supporting entrepreneurs and economic empowerment, especially in home business sector across the deprived areas and EIKO will support this through paying credit and facilities and for this reason we will dedicate more than 300 billion rials based on economic empowerment model of Barakat Foundation.”

“Islamic Revolution of Iran is a perfect role-model for the world, as a whole, and this revolution posed a religious and popular thinking in the world, so all of us are committed to spare no efforts to improve and strengthen this revolution,” Dr. Mokhber added.

Dr. Mokhber also pointed to job generation, deprivation eradication and supporting people who live in the deprived parts of the county as some of the basic policies of EIKO and stated, “EIKO supports people through various and very diverse sections. Paying medical costs, awarding no-interest loans, constructing hospitals and health centers, constructing schools, mosques, roads, infrastructural services, etc. are some of them, and in general, EIKO tries its best to implement constructional projects which can cast some good effects in the regional development.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, Dr. Mokhber said, “EIKO, with regard to emphasis made by the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran about supporting Iranian goods and products, aims to follow a special plan to support national production and domestic goods and products and also for various producing and industrial sectors, financial and thinking supports for all industrial and producing units of the country.”

Another speaker of this meeting was Dr. Gholamreza Kateb, MP of Garmsar and Aradan Counties in the Islamic Consultative Assembly who said, “Reducing unemployment rate must be the first executive approach of the executive departments of the country.”

“EIKO which has played a key role and great contribution to eradicate deprivation and generate more jobs across the country can perform some good actions through supporting rural employment and deprived classes of the society, such as people who are covered by Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and Welfare Organization,” he added.

Kateb also said, “As the result of cooperation between Barakat Foundation and other entities construction of 10 mosques in the Garmsar villages which had been left uncompleted will be completed this year. We are also looking for constructing and completing scholar houses in these villages through supports made by EIKO.”

MP of Garmsar and Aradan counties in the Islamic Consultative Assembly pointed to the special educational programs of Garmsar on employment and promotion of technical majors in the country’s education system and added, “In Garmsar County 53% of students choose to continue their education in the Technical and Vocational Institutes and schools, while this percent in the Semnan Province and the country, as a whole, are 46% and 38%, respectively.”

Another speaker of this meeting was Dr. Dariush Taheri, Garmsar’s Governor, who appreciated the broad measures and actions made by EIKO across the deprived regions of the country and asked both EIKO and Barakat Foundation to pay more attention to the deprived villages of Garmsar County.

 

In the early of their trip to Garmsar, Head of EIKO and his entourage visited Iran-Iraq martyrs’ cemetery of Eyvanki City and paid homage to their great ideals through carpeting their tombs with flowers.

Dr. Mokhber also paid a visit to families of martyrs Naderi and Zamani and appreciated their great position and status in the society.
