In his tour to Gilan Province on Thursday Eng. Jafari, CEO of Barakat Foundation, an affiliated entity of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) participated in a meeting attended by a number of Gilan Province MPs in the Islamic Consultative Assembly at the Rasht City Governorate. In this meeting, Eng. Jafari said, “The first priority of activities and works made by Barakat Foundation in the Gilan Province is economic empowerment and creating jobs across the rural parts in order to prevent villagers to immigrate to cities.”

“Although construction of Barakat Foundation schools, helping to launch inactive industrial units, conducting infrastructural and constructional affairs, helping to construct housings, constructing sanitary and medical houses, providing social services and supports including helping households to provide dowries for needy couples are among Barakat Foundation activities, main plan and mission of this foundation, based on the Resistive Economy policies of EIKO, are achieving economic empowerment and creating jobs, especially in the deprived and rural areas,” he added.

“Barakat Foundation is going to gather and analyze the problems of the province and after prioritizing them, start to solve them,” he said.

 In this meeting, Kochakinejad, Delkhosh and Jafarzadeh, and a number of Gilan MPs in the Islamic Consultative Assembly discuss with the Barakat Foundation’s CEO about contribution of this foundation in solving problems one may face in certain areas such as drinking water, rural roads, inactive industries, launching ecotourism units, construction of new schools in place of those which are being ruined across the province. In this meeting, Ahmadi, Rasht’s Governor, said that Rasht County, especially its villages, are entangled with many problems, as always Rasht’s own problems are hidden beneath the many layers of the province’s problems and we hope that Barakat Foundation would analyze them and helps us to solve them.
