Creating 500 Employment Opportunities for the Graduate Youth in Kermanshah Province’s Quake-Hit Areas
Barakat Foundation, affiliated to EIKO, will generate new employment opportunities for 500 youth graduates, costing over 100 billion rials, in quake-stricken areas in Kermanshah Province.

Managing Director of Barakat Foundation Eng. Saeed Jafari announced the above statement and said, “the contract of this project has been inked and effective steps have been taken in this regard.”

It is predicted that implementation of this project will be finalized before the termination of the current Iranian month of Khordad (June 21), he observed.

Eng. Saeed Jafari, who had travelled to quake-hit areas of Salas Babajani in Kermanshah province along with Dr. VadoodHeidari Official in Charge of Jihadi Headquarters of EIKO and Brigadier General Reza Shahveysi Director General of the Headquarters in Kerman Province, explained about objectives of his trip to this province and said, “given the occurrence of recent earthquake in Sala Babajani in Kermanshah province, I attended the quake-stricken area in Kermanshah province at the direct order of head of EIKO Dr. Mohammad Mokhber in order to offer quality relief services to the people hit by deadly earthquake.”

The managing director of Barakat Foundation emphasized on disseminating cultural services with regard to the quality of reconstruction of quake-hit areas in Kermanshah province and said, “it is necessary that development projects should be conducted with strict supervision, observing requirements of construction standards, in the quake-stricken areas of this province in order to prevent waste of facilities and financial resources.”

Moreover, visiting quake-hit areas in Kermanshah province, he reiterated, “we follow up a joint plan with Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (IKRC) in the field of generating employment, aimed at creating sustainable employment for the families hit by quake in this province especially those families who have lost their head in the earthquake.”

In the same direction, the managing director of Barakat Foundation visited school construction projects of the Foundation in Kermanshah province.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between Barakat Foundation and Ministry of Education, it is supposed that 16 225-classroom schools will be constructed in this province within the framework of joint venture contract, he opined.

In this regard, construction operation of 10 15-classroom schools has started in cooperation with the Organization to Renovate, Equip and Develop Schools as well as Kermanshah Province School Renovation Department General, he said, adding, “it is predicted that this 10 schools will be put into operation by Feb. 2019.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, managing director of Barakat Foundation revealed the organizing expert-level session in the presence of officials of Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (IKRC), Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization (IIDO) and Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences and said, “moreover generating employment for 500 job-seeking graduates in the quake-hit areas, construction operation of 10 health houses will start in cooperation with Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences.”

It is tried to complete construction operations of these project by the end of the current Iranian month of Khordad (June 21, 2018), he opined.

He pointed to the completion of construction operation of 20 mosques in the quake-hit areas of Kermanshah province in cooperation with the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization (IIDO) and added, “the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) will embark on completing construction operation of 500 residential units for the families living in the quake-stricken areas of this province, the plan of which will be implemented in the very near future.”

He referred to the measures taken by the Foundation in the field of generating employment in the quake-hit areas of Kermanshah province and said, “in line with reconstructing houses in the quake-hit areas, Barakat Foundation is thinking of generating employment for the families hit by the quake in this province.”

In the first phase of the plan, 300 families were identified, he said, adding, “so far, employment of 200 families has become operational while cases have been formed for 100 other families, a total of whom have been introduced to the operating bank. Employment opportunities will be generated for all these people by the end of the third three months of the current year.”

He pointed to the second phase of the plan and said, “Barakat Foundation will generate new employment opportunities for 500 young graduates of this province, so that this plan will be implemented before the termination of the next Iranian month of Khordad (June 21, 2019).”
