According to the report received from the Construction and Infrastructural Projects Deputy of Barakat Foundation and based on the MOU concluded in 2015 between EIKO and Ministry of Health and Medical Education, this foundation is committed to construct and complete ten hospital projects, which some of them had been left incomplete in some parts of the deprived areas of the country. Six projects including 90-bed hospital of Baneh, Kordestan Province, has been launched so far. This hospital whose construction operation has been started in 2008, but because of lack of financial sources, it has been left incomplete (with only 32% physical development), was completed and launched by Barakat Foundation after allocation of 94 billion rials credit by this foundation.
Baneh’s 90-bed hospital, which has been constructed in a land area as large as 49000 sqm and substructure of 8600 sq-m, includes certain wards such as pediatrics, internal medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, operation room, ICU, labs, Radiology, etc.
Barakat Foundation has contributed in construction, completion and launching six hospitals in Mianeh, East Azarbaijan Province, Minoodasht, Golestan Province, Daregaz, Khorasan Razavi Province, Garmsar, Semnan Province, Ferdows, Southern Khorasan Province and Baneh, Kordestan Province. Two other hospitals in the Bahar City of Hamedan Province and Gharchak Varamin in Tehran Province are ready to be launched. Likewise, Neyriz hospital project in Fars Province and Dezful in Khuzestan province are being constructed with 60 and 25 physical developments, respectively.
Barakat Foundation has implemented 585 economic empowerment and job creation projects, constructing schools and mosques of Barakat, housings for the deprived people, hospitals and sanitary and medical centers, infrastructural affairs and also providing insurance services, supporting orphans, treating incurable patients and granting interest-free loans with a credit higher than 5587 billion rials in Kordestan Province. It is necessary to explain that, with inaugurating each of these projects, the employment condition for some job applicants will be paved, which it is in the same direction with the principal policies of job creation and business development.
