Dr. Seyed Mustafa Seyed Hashemi, the Coordination Deputy of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), referred to the creation of sustainable employment in the year of supporting Iranian products as the principal policy of EIKO.
Speaking to the ceremony held to launch the first project of ASEMAN Initiative of Barakat Foundation in Tehran province and to inaugurate an enterprise economic empowerment project in the field of producing MDF products, Dr. Seyed Mustafa Seyed Hashemi, the Coordination Deputy of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) said. “EIKO supports the development of businesses which would result in employment and provision of new job opportunities for people who are living in the deprived and less-developed areas.”
“There is a belief in EIKO which says small and medium works in the field of employment will solve a part of the country’s problems,” he added.
Dr. Seyed Mustafa Seyed Hashemi, the Coordination Deputy of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) referred to society-based employment project ready to be launched in the Boumehen City, and said, “This project invested by Barakat Foundation of EIKO has paved the way for employment of 13 people directly.”
Explaining about specifications and advantages of the inaugurated project, Dr. Seyed Hashemi said, “The entrepreneur of this project belongs to the noble family of martyrs and it is a value in which the family of a martyr has started a business. Also, an acceptable workforce has attracted to this project with a small capital. On the other hand, business is necessary for the society, as we have seen that some great consequences have been gained from a small workshop.”
“Most of ASEMAN Model employment projects will be launched across the country. 17 provinces, 77 counties and 2300 villages under coverage of society-based job creation projects of Barakat Foundation and it is predicted that before the current yearend 10000 job opportunities would be developed through this way in the country”, he added.
Dr. Seyed Mustafa Seyed Hashemi, the Coordination Deputy of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), referred to having economic justification, necessary investment, using state of the art technologies and taking advantage of human resources as imperative conditions for projects which are supported by ASEMAN initiative and stated, “EIKO will cooperate and support these projects as much as it can.”
Creation of 10000 Society-Based Jobs by Barakat Foundation in 2018
Speaking to the ceremony held to launch the first project of ASEMAN Initiative of Barakat Foundation in the less-developed districts of Tehran province, CEO OF Barakat Foundation said, “140 projects in the framework of ASEMAN Initiative with the capacity of employment for 1400 people have been predicted for 2018 and 2019.”
Explaining how the ASEMAN Initiative would be implemented, Eng. Saeed Jafari said, “In this initiative, social groups need to be formed and both employment and social empowerment are followed in this regard.”
Referring to the improved social and economic indicators in the local societies after launching ASEMAN initiative, he said, “We predict that these 1400 occupational capacities to be developed and launched before September 2019.”
Later in his speech, he introduced the AFTAB imitative as the complementary project of society-based employment initiates and added, “in fact, when a project is completed it will be organized as a cooperative and continues its survival.”
Eng. Jafari also announced about the creation of 10000 new job opportunities in the framework of SAHAB Initiative before the yearend and said, “In the coming year we will develop at least 15000 new jobs based on society-based approach.”
Pointing to various sorts of deprivations in the country, he said, “Tehran has included a great deal of population, and suffers from marginalization problems.”
He also announced about the special attention of Barakat Foundation to the less-developed areas of Tehran Province, and stated, “Marginalization in Tehran has brought about many social problems and EIKO is looking for eradicating deprivations and realizing social and economic empowerment of the less-developed and deprived areas of Tehran Province and tries to do so through following Resistive Economy policies and supporting Iranian production and products.”
It is necessary to explain that during the trip of Coordination deputy of EIKO to Boumehen and Jajroud, a society-based economic empowerment project in Boumehen was launched in which women are employed, and another enterprise-based economic empowerment project was inaugurated in Jajroud. This industrial unit, which was launched by Barakat Foundation, an affiliated foundation of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), with 70 billion rials investment, is able to produce 25 direct opportunities only in its first phase.
