In a conversation made on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of Barakat Foundation by the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), Abdolreza Mesri, MP of Kermanshah People to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated, “Among extensive and variable activities of Barakat Foundation, investment and contribution in development and generation of job opportunities is very significant.”
“Launching economic projects across the deprived parts of the county will result in job generation and finally economic and social empowerment of the regions,” he added.
Pointing to measures made by Barakat Foundation, as the agent of the Execution of Imam Khomeini order (EIKO), after the recent earthquake in this province, the member of MPs Council of Kermanshah Province said, “Barakat Foundation was among the first institutes which came to the region and started their various services after the earthquake. Distribution of necessary things for a living, providing sanitary and medical services, constructing houses and schools for the earthquake-ridden people and developing job opportunities for the bread-winner women in such areas are among such services.”
Mesri also asked Barakat Foundation to contribute more than before in the area of job generation in the Kermanshah Province, especially across the earthquake-ridden areas and added, “The jihadi movement of Barakat Foundation to achieve the Resistive Economy goals and generation of new job opportunities not only declines the unemployment rate in the region, but also it will result in the production of income, wealth and empowerment of the deprived and less-developed areas.”
Explaining about other measures and activities of Barakat Foundation in the Kermanshah Province, he said, “The constructional projects such as building schools in the less-developed rural areas, construction and equipping mosques, launching sanitary houses, constructing rural roads, water supplying for the unreachable areas and several investments in the producing and economic projects with the aim of deprivation eradication, job generation and economic and social empowerment of the deprived areas are other measures made by Barakat Foundation in this province.”
The member of Plan and Budget Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly described contribution and investment of Barakat Foundation in launching producing and industrial units as one of the best entrepreneurial models in the country and said, “Transferring these units to people after reaching to proficiency phase by the Barakat Foundation implies the fact the Barakat Foundation is not looking for taking authorities, but it pursues some greater and more important goals across the country based on its revolutionary and jihadi viewpoint.”
Finally, MP of Kermanshah People said, “Barakat Foundation will generate job as much as it can and it will help development in the deprived areas and its people.”
