EIKO Creates 3,000 Jobs in Flood-Affected Areas of Golestan Province
EIKO Head Dr. Mohammad Mokhber revealed the generation of 3,000 jobs in the flood-stricken areas of Golestan province using community-based economic empowerment model of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to EIKO, in the flood-affected areas of Golestan province.

In his visit to the flood-affected areas and meet the basic requirements of flood-stricken people of Golestan province, Dr. Mokhber added, “people in the flood-stricken areas of Golestan province face a major dilemma. Firstly, people of flood-hit areas have lost all belongings at their homes completely and secondly, since most of these people are stockbreeders and farmers, a number of their animals have been wasted in this devastating flood.”

In this regard, Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order will donate 4,000 livestock to the flood-affected rural families, Dr. Mokhber added.

People of flood-affected areas have lost their jobs in tandem with wasting their animals in this devastating flood, he said, adding, “in this regard, it was stipulated that Barakat Foundation, subsidiary to EIKO, will generate 3,000 jobs for the people of these areas.”

In addition, EIKO will donate 4,000 sets of essential home appliances to the flood-affected families in Golestan province, he emphasized.

In his visit to the Red Crescent Relief and Rescue Center, Dr. Mohammad Mokhber revealed the activity of 22 Jihadi groups of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order in the flood-hit areas of Golestan province and added, “from the beginning of outbreak of flood, EIKO has rendered quality services to the people of this province through its 22 Jihadi groups.”

According to him, EHSAN (Beneficence) Health Caravans of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to the EIKO, attended the flood-hit areas of this province immediately and offered quality relief services to these people.

EHSAN Health Caravans of EIKO have so far rendered quality relief services to at least 10,000 people in flood-hit areas of Golestan province, Dr. Mokhber emphasized.

Elsewhere in his remarks, head of EIKO added, “a mobile clinic, with the capacity of 10,000 people, has been set up in the flood-hit area of Aqqala in Golestan province along with physician and medical facilities such as drugs and medicines.”

EIKO’s mobile clinic has offered quality medical and healthcare services to patients and people of these areas, he stressed.

It should be noted that Saeed Jafari Managing Director of Barakat Foundation (affiliated to the EIKO), Amir-Hossein Madani Managing Director of EHSAN Plan of Barakat Foundation and Mohammad VadoodHeidari Official in Charge of Jihadi Headquarters of the EIKO and also MehrdadBazrpash accompanied Head of EIKO Dr. Mohammad Mokhber in this trip.

From the beginning of the outbreak of flood in Golestan province, Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order has rendered relief services to the flood-hit people of this province through its 22 Jihadi groups. Accordingly, Jihadi groups of EIKO has distributed 100,000 warm foods among flood-stricken people of this province. in addition, Relief Emergencies Center of the EIKO has distributed its contributions [including canned foods, blankets, mineral waters (PET bottles), drugs, medicines, etc.] among people of this province.

It is worth mentioning that Ehsan Health Caravans of EIKO are offering quality medical and healthcare services to the flood-affected people of this province.
