According to the report released by the Society-based Entrepreneurial Development Deputy of Barakat Foundation, these fields which belong to Ramhormozi farmers have been left arid because of drought, have been revived with the contribution of Barakat Foundation, an affiliated foundation of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order and the way was paved for employment of hundreds of farmers of the region.
According to this report, a total of 30 billion rials credit was assigned from the Khuzestan Province Jihad of Agriculture Organization to pump water from the river into these fields. On the other hand, the farmers must supply 7 billion rials to supply electricity and complete the project, but they had a problem to provide this amount of money. So, Barakat Foundation awarded 70 100-million rials loans to the farmers in order to complete the water supply process and to start planting their own farms.
