Announcing the news, the managing director of Barakat Foundation said, "150 new Barakat Schools, with their 632 classrooms, were opened in deprived districts of the Iranian cities and villages and gifted to the students in those regions this year."

"Sistan and Baluchestan province has the largest share with 45 of those new schools, in which 12,500 students will be enrolled for the new academic year," said Mohammad Torkamaneh.

He reiterated that with the official opening of those 150 new Barakat Schools, the number of those schools throughout Iran is now 1,950 schools with some 10,000 classrooms.

According to the managing director of Barakat Foundation, more than 250,000 students are now studying in the schools constructed by that foundation.

Announcing the launching of the school-building movement all over Iran, he said, "Barakat Foundation is determined to construct 2,700 new schools in deprived districts of the country, and in order to achieve that important objective 13,000 billion rials credit is allocated."

 He said that by the end of the current academic year (March 21, 2023), 2,000 new Barakat Schools will be opened.

Torkamaneh emphasized that the Barakat Schools will all be constructed in deprived parts of city districts and villages throughout Iran, just as always, adding, "4,000 villages all over Iran are now under the supportive umbrella of the Barakat Foundation, including its school-construction movement.

The managing director of Barakat Foundation further reiterated, "The foundation, based on the ideals of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the policies adopted by the EIKO, aimed at further expansion of the academic spaces, and fair distribution of the academic facilities in Iran, the foundation has focused on school building in poor parts of the country, and this is one of the most fundamental and long-lasting services offered by this foundation to the Iranian nation.

Torkamaneh emphasized at the end, "Barakat Schools in deprived parts of the county is answering to a need of the Education Ministry, and the Headquarters for Renovation and Construction of Schools in Iran, in accordance with the most up-to-date academic standards, which are gifted to the dear students."
