In order to eradicate deprivation and to meet social and economic empowerment in the deprived and less-developed areas, Barakat Foundation will launch 800 job creation projects and initiatives with the capacity of developing more than 2240 job opportunities in Charoosa, Kohgilouyeh, Basht, Boyerahmad and Dishmoke counties of Kohgiloyeh-Boyerahmad Province, the Public Relations Department of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order reported.
These entrepreneurial projects will be developed in the framework of society-based job creation model (SAHAB) and through certain occupations such as breeding small and heavy animals, beekeeping, producing clothing, handicrafts, breeding poultry and carpet weaving.
As this report indicates, more than 720 billion rials credit has been predicted for developing and launching 800 mentioned job creation projects. Also, 9 facilitators and executors, as executors of Barakat Foundation’s society-based job creation projects systems, will act in the deprived areas of the Kohgiloyeh-Boyerahmad Province.
Last year, the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order’s Barakat Foundation had launched 200 job creation projects with the capacity of developing 450 job opportunities in 23 villages of Charoosa City, with a credit more than 180 billion rials; so four other cities including Basht, Dishmoke, Kohgiloyeh and Boyerahmad have been added to the target cities of this foundation in this year.
Eventually, after visitation of facilitators and completing phases of technical and credit qualifications, a total of 800 projects have been chosen and completed out of 950 proposed projects. The quality of applicants is appraised and verified with the certain criteria such as lack of jobs, enjoying the minimal skills, having the primary facilities such as a place to keep animals, ability to take loans from Banks, etc.
It is necessary to say that with the aim of deprivation eradication and social and economic empowerment in the deprived and less-developed areas, EIKO’s Barakat Foundation has put atop agenda job creation and development of entrepreneurial opportunities in these areas.
