According to this report, in the ceremony held to appreciated student and free business designers, investment opportunities and technopreneurs, Barakat Foundation, an affiliated foundation of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), awarded its social technopreneurship award, worth of 300 million rials, to Amin Farzadfar for the plan of “Progressive Depth Cellulose Filters and Filtration Systems”.
To select the premier plan, Barakat Foundation considers several factors including innovativeness, social effects of the plan on the deprived areas, the applicability of the plan in such areas.
It is worthy to explain that the most important concerns of the Barakat Foundation are eradication of deprivation in all parts of the Islamic Iran, so to reach this great ideal, economic empowerment and entrepreneurship have always been the first priority of this foundation; the steering policy of Barakat Foundation to implement its economic projects across the deprived and less-developed areas of the country has always been supporting the technological entrepreneurial plans, avoiding tenureship, full implementation and use of capacity of non-governmental organizations, NGOs, real and legal entrepreneur entities and assigning responsibilities and management of plans to the local entrepreneurs. In fact, the contribution of the Barakat Foundation is done only in order to empower and to generate jobs in the deprived and less-developed areas.
Also, Barakat’s Knowledge-based institute awarded its award, worth of 300 million rials, to Manuchehr Behzadi for his plan on “absorbing emulsions caused by the urban and industrial wastes”.
To choose the best initiative of this category, Barakat’s Knowledge-based institute considers innovativeness nature of the plan and its capacity to generate jobs. For this institute, although the priority of choosing plans is for the deprived areas, other plans which would result in employment will be considered, as well.
Barakat’s Knowledge-based institute contributes to a knowledge-based initiative with economic justification and investment capacity. As, this institute has invested and contributed to more than 40 knowledge-based projects in various provinces of the country such as Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, etc.
