The 24-classroom Educational Complex of Shahid Jozdani in Tehran’s Robat Karim area was launched as the 1000th Barakat School awarded by Ayatollah Khameneni, Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran, to students of this area.
At the same time, a total of 7 other schools with 600 classrooms were launched in less-developed areas of 26 provinces of the country.
In this ceremony, a MOU for constructing 21 Barakat schools with 260 classrooms in earthquake-stricken areas of Kerman and Kermanshah were signed between EIKO and Ministry of Education. Likewise, Barakat Foundation, as the representative of EIKO, has started to construct the second part of 1000 schools through signing a contract for building 357 schools.
The opening ceremony of 1000th Barakat School which was held in permanent zone for exhibition of social achievements of EIKO, was attended by Leader's Chief of Staff Ayatollah Mohammadi Golpayegani, Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini Order, members of trustee board of EIKO, CEO of Barakat Foundation, Dr. Aref Nouruzi, Construction Deputy of Education Ministry, Muhammad Taghi Nazarpour and a number of state and military authorities. In this ceremony the memorial stamp of the 1000th Barakat School was uncovered. Appreciation of contractors who have safeguarded these schools against earthquakes through meeting technical and standards principles were among other pivots of this ceremony.
