The Managing Director of Barakat Foundation Mohammad Torkamaneh announcing the news, added that this training course was held for 200 social and economic facilitators from 26 provinces and 140 townships, from July 11th to 17th in Tehran.
Torkamaneh emphasized that during that six-day course the objective was training and offering practical skills to 200 facilitators, and those participants who passed the course successfully were added to the Barakat Foundation employees all over Iran.
He reiterated that after adding those 200 volunteers, the number of executive officers and facilitators of the Barakat Foundation reached 1,000 and that facilitating network provided a 90% coverage all over Iran, both acting and offering services.
According to the managing director of the Barakat Foundation, the facilitators of that foundation are this year covering 450 townships and 20,000 villages under the supportive umbrella of Barakat Foundation.
Torkamaneh further added that the 1,000-strong network of Barakat facilitators is one of the vastest facilitating networks, which has covered under its supportive umbrella half of the country’s villages, creating jobs and decreasing the people’s unemployment problem.
Elaborating on the details of the 6th Barakat Foundation Training Course for Social, Economic Facilitators in social-based employment plans, he said that the topics of the courses offered in this training were in two academic fields, related to facilitating, concepts, facilities at hand, and the effective technics on the one hand, and becoming familiar with the rules, regulations and directives of the Barakat Foundation on the other hand.
The managing director of Barakat Foundation emphasized that renowned and top university professors in the field of facilitating taught the participants in the course the most up-to-date methods in facilitating.
On the methods applied in choosing the participants in this training course, Torkamaneh said that after distributing nationwide application forms, and enrollment of 1,400 applicants we arranged for written tests, special and technical interviews, and eventually choosing 200 participants for The 6th Barakat Foundation Training Course for Social, Economic Facilitators, for social and economic-based trainings.
He reiterated at the end: The Barakat facilitators are chosen from among the elites of the local societies, and their least academic degree is MA.
