For constructing, preparing and equipping infertility treatment center of Khoramabad Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research, aka Jihad-e Daneshgahi, which has been launched with the assistance of Barakat Foundation, an affiliated foundation of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order, more than 110 billion rials have been invested.
With 2500 sq-m land area, this medical complex was opened and launched during the visit Dr. Muhammad Mokhber, chairman of EIKO, paid to Lorestan Province in the last January.

It is necessary to explain that, After declaration of general policies of the country’s population by the Leader in 2014 about strengthening the family’s basis and dynamicity, growth and youthfulness of the population through increasing the fertility rate, the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order, with the aim of playing an effective role in conducting these policies, has started to design and conduct the “Barakat Family Initiative” in the deprived and rural parts of the country.
Given inaccessibility of most villagers to the medical centers, problems in supplying hefty costs of treating infertility and insurance companies’ avoidance to cover such services, EIKO decided to involve seriously with the treatment of infertile couples who are living in the rural parts of the country, as within three years of this initiative, fortunately, 379 newborns have been born across the country.
