The Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order Grants its Aids to Shirazi Flood-Stricken People
In a ceremony attended by the Economic Deputy of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order and national and provincial authorities, Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order granted its aids to the flood-stricken people of Shiraz.

According to the Public Relations Department of Barakat Foundation, in a ceremony attended by Javad Shekarkhah, the Economic Deputy of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order, Ayatollah Lotfollah Dezhkam, representative of the Leader to Fars Province and Friday Prayers Leader of Shiraz, Enayatollah Rahimi, Governor-General of Fars Province, Shiraz Governor and other provincial and local authorities 1000 home appliances packages and 2000 stationary packages symbolically were granted to the flood-stricken of Shiraz.

Also, in this ceremony, launching 200 society-based job-creation projects of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order were started in the flood-stricken areas of Fars Province.

Barakat Foundation has been established in response to the Leader’s order to head of Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO) stating: “I’m concerned about solving problems of the deprived classes of the society. For instance, solve problems of 1000 villages completely. How good would be if 1000 points of the country are solved or 1000 schools are built in the country, prepare this organization for this purpose.”  In this regard, Barakat Foundation was formed by EIKO on Dec. 11, 2007 in order to act as an organization to uproot deprivation, to realize economic and social empowerment and to carry out public affairs. Relying on the Holy Quran, this foundation was named “Barakat”.
