In a conversation made on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of Barakat Foundation by the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO), Habibollah Dahmardeh said, “There are many regions in the Sistan-Baluchestan Province which suffer from deprivation and shortages, so activities of Barakat Foundation would be effective in reaching social and economic empowerment and improving lifestyle of people who are living in these areas.”
Explaining about activities of Barakat Foundation in his electorate, Dahmardeh said, “Some effective measures have been conducted by Barakat Foundation with the aim of job generation, especially in the fields of society-based economic empowerment, constructional and infrastructural affairs such as building schools, completing and equipping mosques, constructing houses of medicine, water supplying, etc. in the Sistan-Baluchestan Province.”
MP of Zabol City to the Islamic Consultative Assembly asked for extension of Barakat Foundation activities in the Sistan-Baluchestan Province, especially on employment and development areas and stated, “Measures made by Barakat Foundation in the field of medicine, especially on constructing sanitary and healthcare entities, paying treatment costs to deprived people and insuring the needy rural household will be very effective in enhancing their lifestyle.”
Pointing to the high rate unemployment in his province, Dahmardeh said, “Investment and contribution of Barakat Foundation in the economic projects can result in employment and development and economic prosperity of the region. On the other hand, generation of small and domestic businesses and sustainable employment, particularly in the rural deprived areas which are followed by this foundation, would prevent immethodical immigration to other cities.”
The member of Education Commission of Parliament stated, “The Execution of Imam Khomeini Order and Barakat Foundation have carried out very proper and useful plans to eradicate deprivation, to generate employment and to strengthen economic and social empowerment in the deprived and less-developed regions of the country, so we hope to see extension of such activities across the Sistan-Baluchestan Province.”
