Announcing this, Sarafraz Mouseli, Fars Province General Director of Organization for Development, Renovation and Equipping Schools, said, “Construction of these educational units in the Fars Province has been funded by charity school makers and association of Barakat Foundation within the past year.”
Emphasizing the fact that 25 percent of the educational places in the Fars Province need reinforcing and renovating, He added, “About 7400 schools and 40000 classrooms have been prepared for the new academic year.”
Saying this that within the last year 45 educational places have been constructed, reconstructed and renovated, Fars Province General Director of Organization for Development, Renovation and Equipping Schools said, “They include 35 schools with 300 classrooms and 36500 sqm educational land area.”
Explaining about lack of the educational places in the Fars Province, Mousel opined, “Currently, Shiraz County, and especially its satellite towns are in dire need of new educational places and in other parts of the province we need to construct new schools or to reconstruct the old ones.”
According to him the credit required to reconstruct 1800 schools in the Fars Province is more than 1000 billion tomans, which will be varied in response to situation and inflation.
He also announced about activation of more than 250 educational projects across the Fars Province and said that these projects, due to the credit constraints, had been stopped and left uncompleted previously.
