In his meeting with the managing director, chairman of the Board of Director and deputies of Barakat Foundation, the economy minister, moreover welcoming job-creation models of the Foundation, emphasized on the need to implement job-creation patterns of the Foundation in executive and governmental organizations for strengthening financial system.

In this meeting, Eng. Saeed Jafari and Dr. Mahmoud Askariazad Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to the EIKO, clarified the job-generation models of the Foundation.

For his part, Ministry of Economy Dr. FarhadDejpasand appreciated activities and performance of Barakat Foundation on the way of financing projects, generating employment and the way of paying loans to projects and said, “Ministry of Economy is ready to cooperate and collaborate with the Foundation for materializing most economic objectives of the Foundation.”

While exchanging methods of generating employment in the country, the two sides emphasized on generating employment in deprived and rural areas of the country and strengthening social and human assets in order to launch stable livelihood and socioeconomic empowerment of people in these disadvantaged areas.

It should be noted that Barakat Foundation had approved launching 13,000 community-based employment plans with the capacity of 2.8 jobs for each plan in its budget in 2019.

Given the outbreak of devastating flood in some provinces of the country, the number of employment plan of Barakat Foundation increased to 30,000 plans at the order of the head of EIKO Dr. Mohammad Mokhber.
