Barakat Foundation Invests 8400 Billion Tomans to Eradicate Deprivation in the country
CEO of Barakat Foundation, an affiliated entity of EIKO, arrived Isfahan in order to open and start construction operation of several schools and infrastructural projects.

Dr. Aref Nouruzi, CEO of Barakat Foundation, attended the inaugural ceremony of a 6-classroom school in the Mohsenabad Village and also the opening ceremony of constructing a 6-classroom school in the Firouzabad Village, Gaz City. In this ceremony, he said that in response to the Leader’s orders we succeeded to launch 25500 projects across the country, out of which 60 percent has been launched and the rest is being launched and we see them increasing every day.

Pointing to the fact that 8400 billion Tomans has been dedicated to implementation of such projects, so far, he stated that Barakat Foundation, as the exclusive representative of EIKO, has taken good strides to meet the orders issued by the Leader to eradicate deprivation in the country and realization of Economy of Resistance policy. We opened the 1000th school of Barakat Foundation about a month ago and now we have 357 other schools in our hands whose construction operation will be finished very soon.

“After opening 1000 schools of Barakat, a total of 6000 classrooms has been added to the education capacity of the country, each school, in average, has 6 classrooms and 700 billion Tomans has been expensed to build them and 130000 students are studying in such schools,” Dr. Noruzi said.

“Upon opening of the in-hand schools, some more 2200 schools will be added to this quantity, as a result we will have 8000 classrooms with the capacity of 177000 students,” he added.

For assisting economic empowerment and job generation in the less-developed parts of the Isfahan Province, the CEO of Barakat Foundation added, “We have invested in nine economic empowerment initiatives with more than 96 billion Tomans in the Isfahan Province, by which we can generate jobs for 3505 people. After 3 to 5 years of participation with the private sector, we will transfer the initiatives to the entrepreneurs and today we have transferred five initiatives which have been completed in the province.”

Pointing to the fact that more than 25 Barakat Schools with the capacity of more than 130 classrooms have been opened in the Isfahan Province, Dr. Noruzi stressed: “We have 40 more schools in hand in the Isfahan Province. Totally, we have invested 50 billion Tomans in this province to construct schools and to extend educational spaces.”

He also said that 21 more constructional projects are being implemented in other parts of the Isfahan Province and added, “About one billion Tomans has been dedicated for these issues. Insurance services of Barakat Foundation cover a total of 78 villages and 550 orphans.”

Pointing to 2000 people who have taken advantage of interest-free loans in the Isfahan Province, he said, “We have covered 65000 people through 500 billion Tomans as the interest-free loans during last 2.5 years.”

He also said that Barakat Schools across the country are among the best Schools of the country, which have been constructed in the less-developed and deprived parts, but we have tried to equip them with the best mateRials and supplies.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Dr. Noruzi said that schools built by Barakat foundation resisted against the Kermanshah Earthquake, as in a village which has been demolished as much as 80 percent, we saw that the Barakat School there remained completely healthy. If we do well in a country which is inclined to natural disasters, we will experience fewer damages.

It is worthy to note that Barakat School in the Mohsenabad Village, with a population of 4000 people, has been constructed with a credit more than 1 billion Tomans in a land area of 821 sq-m. it has 6 classrooms, a library, a lab and an amphitheatre (114 sq-m) and about 200 students are studying there.

Another speaker of this ceremony was Zarean, Head of Education Organization of Barakat Township, who said, “This school is the second one which is opened through assistance of Barakat Foundation. The first one was opened in Shapourabad last year.”

He also added that this school is built in a land area as large as 821 sq-m with a credit of one billion Toman. It has started to work with 204students and 13 training staff.

Haji Deligani, the MP of Shahinshahr, Maymeh and Barkhar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, was another speaker of the ceremony who said, “We need to appreciate the Leader for this gracious entity. Having school was one of righteous demands of Barkhar people which it was realized today and it was presented by the Leader to people of Mohsenabad with 4000 people population.”

He also reiterated, “There are only eight schools in this township, i.e. Dowlatabad, which must be evacuated; although Barakat Foundation has not responsibility about this, it has always helped people to eradicate poverty and we hope it help us to tackle this problem, as well.”

It is worthy to say that after opening Barakat school of Mohsenabad Village the CEO of Barakat Foundation, an Affiliated entity of Executive of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO), left there and went to Habibabad of Barkhar in order  to start the construction operation of its six-class school. In the opening ceremony of this project, Dr. Noruzi stated his hopes that the construction operation of this school would be finished by the beginning of the next academic year, as the students of the region would start the new academic year in their new school.

Starting the construction operation of Firouzabad’s six-class school of Gaz City was another plan in which the CEO of Barakat Foundation and his entourage were participated in their trip to Isfahan Province. According to Dr. Noruzi, next year this school will be added to other 25 schools built by Barakat Foundation in the Isfahan Province.
