In line with the implementation of EIKO’s plan entitled ‘economic empowerment’ and ‘generation of employment’ in less developed and deprived regions of the country, two economic projects including LABAN DOUSH DAMAK KUAR Company and HILOO Wood Industrial Company were inaugurated in the cities of KUAR and Shiraz Industrial Township.
These two giant projects were put into operation in cooperation and participation of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO), in this province and started their production activity.
Dr. Mohammad Mokhber Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) was the first speaker in the inaugural ceremony who pointed to the main activity of EIKO in the field of creating business, economic empowerment and generating employment in underprivileged and disadvantaged regions of the country and said, “one of the job-creation projects of EIKO, moreover supporting entrepreneurs in economic-based projects, is social-based activities which is currently implemented in most provinces of the country in a way that 10,000 employment opportunities will be created directly before the termination of the current Iranian calendar year in 1397 (to end March 20, 2019).”
Dr. Mohammad Mokhber also pointed to the enterprise-based economic empowerment projects as one of the other job-creation projects of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) and added, “in this regard, EIKO has currently made huge investment for commissioning industrial and production projects in 31 provinces of the country in a way that these projects will finally be delegated and transferred to the people.”
The main strategy of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) is to transfer and delegate current affairs to the people, he said, adding, “according to the recommendation of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, popularization of economy i.e. delegation of economic activity to people has been put atop agenda of EIKO.”
It should be noted that LABAN DOUSH DAMAK KUAR Company is active in the field of producing high-quality dairy products which has been put into operation with the participation and investment of the EIKO, costing 44 billion Rials.
EIKO invested 44 billion Rials for launching LABAN DOUSH DAMAK KUAR Company in Fars Province, Dr. Mokhber reiterated.
The company has the capacity of receiving 50 tons of milk daily, he said, adding, “LABAN DOUSH DAMAK KUAR Company will generate direct employment for 44 people and 150 indirect employment opportunities in the region.”
He pointed to HILOO Wood Industrial Company and said, “this company is active in the field of producing laminate and parquetry (geometric mosaic of wood pieces used for decorative effect in flooring).”
This company has been constructed on a land area as large as 16,000 square meters, he said, adding, “EIKO has invested 117 billion rials for launching this project.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Dr. Mokhber put the investment made by EIKO for commissioning HILOO Wood Industrial Company at 117 billion rials.
This company has the capacity of producing eight million square meters of wooden products annually, he said, adding, “HILOO Wood Industrial Company was put into operation in one and a half years.”
As located in Shiraz Industrial Township, HILOO Wood Industrial Company will generate 160 employment opportunities for job-seeking people directly, he maintained.
In line with the sublime recommendation of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution with regard to ‘implementing policies of the resistance economy, production and job creation’ as well as deprivation, economic empowerment and development of social justice, two projects in the fields of ‘economic empowerment’ and ‘generation of employment’ were put into operation in Fars Province on August 15, 2018 in the presence of Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO).
It should be noted that Dr. Mokhber EIKO Head arrived in Shahid Dastgheib Airport in Shiraz on Wednesday, Aug. 15 and was highly welcomed by the governor general and senior executive officials of the province.
