Salient activities and performance of the Foundation have empowered social and economic activities in Fars Province, he reiterated.
A get-together meeting to study and follow up implementation of provisions of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), inked between the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) and Fars Province Governor General Office, was held in the presence of managing director of the Barakat Foundation, deputies of the Foundation and Coordinating Deputy Governor-Generalship of Fars Province for Resources Development and Economic Affairs as well as one of senior commanders and executives of this province.
In this meeting, he pointed to the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding, worth 6,500 billion rials, inked between EIKO and Fars Governor General Office and reiterated, “this MoU has been formulated and drawn up in different fields such as eradication of deprivation, generation of employment and said, “Fortunately, all projects of the Foundation in this province have enjoyed significant progress.”
Employment, infrastructural and development projects of this MoU are underway especially in Kazeroun, Fars province and it is predicted that these projects will become operational ahead of the scheduled date, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the deputy governor-general of Fars province pointed to job-creation activities of Barakat Foundation within the framework of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and emphasized, “such opportunities should be used optimally especially “employment” which is the major concern of the Leader of Islamic Revolution and other executive officials of the country.”
Certainly, activities leading to the creation of employment by Barakat Foundation will help boost the economic situation in Fars Province, he stressed.
For his part, Managing Director of Barakat Foundation Eng. Saeed Jafari pointed to the semi-finished projects in Fars province and said, “a group of managers and deputies of the Foundation will visit Fars province in the very near future to study feasibility studies of the selected projects.”
He pointed to the presence of Barakat Foundation in 3,000 villages of the country and added, “Barakat Foundation has established widespread interactions with all executive organizations across the country.”
He emphasized facilitating and accelerating payment of loan to the social-based projects in this province and reiterated, “Barakat Foundation carried out social-based employment projects in Kazeroun city beyond predefined programs in a way that all 150 predicted projects will become operational in 20 villages of this city by the end of the current year in 1398 (started March 21, 2019).”
Moreover, these 150 projects, Barakat Foundation has predicted launch of social-based employment plan in other cities of this province [including Neyriz, Estahban, Abadeh, Bavanat, Khorrambid, and Mamasani] for the next year and it is hoped that these social-based employment projects will become operational by the end of the Iranian month of Shahrivar in the current year (Sept. 21).
He placed special emphasis on accelerating construction operation of 500 residential units for the deprived people of Fars province within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between Barakat Foundation and EIKO.
He pointed to the job-creation plans and patterns of Barakat Foundation including [social-based pattern] as the result of studying successful domestic and foreign experiences in the field of entrepreneurship and reiterated, “Barakat Foundation has launched more than 10,000 job-creation plans in 18 provinces of the country.”
Turning to the significance of provision of agricultural raw materials in the job-creation process, he added, “we have targeted 15,000 job-creation plans in the current year within the framework of social-, facilities-, and economic enterprise-based plans.”
