Mohammad Shariatmadari, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, said that Barakat Foundation, as an affiliated entity of EIKO, has paved the way for economic and social empowerment and bringing about a better living condition for people who live in the deprived areas through participation in launching economic enterprises in the deprived parts of the country. This model of Jihadi management is based on eradication of poverty and deprivation which it is hoped to be extended to the entire country.
On the sidelines of the 4th Jihadi Management conference, which was held at the IRIB’s international Conference Center, in an interview with the correspondent of Barakat Foundation’s Public Relations Department, Mohammad Shariatmadari said, “Today, Jihadi management based on science and wisdom may solve many problems. However, it partly depends on your beliefs, because Jihadi management is something which is rooted in our managers’ beliefs and they know that they will be awarded in the otherworld for what they are doing in this world and it will affect their actions and behaviors. As during Iran-Iraq War we witnessed all-embracing jihad of our people and everybody tried to do something which would be awarded by God in other-world.”
Referring to this that naturally incentive system plays a key role in the Jihadi management and it needs to be considered when you try managers, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said, “Jihadi Management is an Elixir you may need to reach industrial, mineral, commercial and parallel development across the country.”
Pointing to the manifestation of Jihadi management in the function of Barakat Foundation, and affiliated firm of EIKO, Shariatmadari said, “Barakat Foundation has targeted based on the policies announced by the Leader and it is an entity which has dedicated its resources to the deprived and needy people and has started to identify and eradicate deprivation and weakness in various parts of the country.”
“Barakat Foundation has not tried to give needy people a fish and feed them for a day, but it has tried to teach them to fish and feed them for a lifetime,” he said.
Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade also said that Barakat Foundation has started to empower people both economically and socially in the deprived areas through participation in launching economic firms in such areas and has also succeeded to provide a better condition for living. This model of Jihadi management is based on eradication of poverty and deprivation which it is hoped to be extended to the entire country.
