In the ceremony of sending home appliances donated to flood-affected people across the province, Dr. Mohammad Mokhber Head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order added, “EIKO set up eight relief bases in eight flood-affected provinces of the country and provided essential and necessary requirements needed by flood-hit people of these areas including blankets, water, warm- and cold foods, boosts, etc.”

“We have promised flood-affected people in these provinces that EIKO will stay and stand by these people until returning to their houses,” Dr. Mokhber stressed.

For this purpose, EIKO has defined four important missions for itself.

He pointed to the description of these four important missions as follows: provision of a part of home appliances that were either destructed or broke down as a result of flood, compensation of damages incurred to animals and livestock caused by flood, provision and distribution of stationery appliances among students in flood-affected regions and generation of employment in flood-hit areas.

The first package of consignment [including 4,000 packages of home appliances such as refrigerators, gas cookers, carpets, blankets and containers (dishes) and also other essential requirements] will be sent to the flood-affected people in Golestan province, he said, adding, “provincial governor-generalship and Friday prayers leader are responsible for distributing the appliances donated by EIKO among flood-hit people.”

Dr. Mokhber pointed to the distribution of 4,000 packages of stationery among students in flood-affected regions of Golestan province and said, “packages of stationery will be sent to students in flood-affected provinces of the country.”

EIKO has focused on generating employment and creating business opportunities in flood-hit areas of the country as one of its main missions, Dr. Mokhber emphasized.

When the situation becomes normal in this province, EIKO will follow up a generation of 3,000 employment, he added.

As long as people are affected by flood problems, Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order will stay and stand by flood-affected people with all its means and power, Dr. Mokhber noted.

He put the value of 4,000 packages of home appliances sent by the EIKO to Golestan province at over 200 billion rials and said, “all these home appliances have been manufactured domestically.”

In this regard, EIKO has concluded a contract with some prestigious home appliances manufacturing companies, the issue of which has revitalized these industrial units especially in the year named after “Boosting Production” as emphasized by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

On the sidelines of the ceremony of sending 18,000 packages of home appliances to the people of flood-affected provinces, Head of EIKO Dr. Mokhber appreciated and endeared esteemed families of Martyrs Azizi, Pourhatk and Shateri as well as martyred defenders of holy shrines.
