“According to the order Issued by Dr. Muhammad Mokhber, director of EIKO, many studies have been conducted by both EIKO and Barakat Foundation on how to proceed sustainable job generation. As a result, four initiatives: ASEMAN, SAHAB, MAHTAB and AFTAB have been proposed,” Dr. Mahmud Askari Azad, Head of Board of Directors of Barakat Foundation, said.
Explaining these initiatives, he said, “ASEMAN Initiative is based on the development of both social and human capitals and employment based on people, themselves. SAHAB Initiative is a process based on job generation and its continuation through reviving human forces.”
“MAHTAB Initiative is something which directs Barakat’s employment and is based on the generation of jobs based on requirements. AFTAB Initiative is also based on empowerment which is necessary for supporting rural products and for branding rural products in the market”, he added.
“Relying on these four initiatives, Barakat Foundation has started its activities in the Lorestan Province and it is supposed that more than 2300 employment projects would be developed in Delfan, Poledokhtar, Roomashgan, and Koohdasht within 2018 and 2019, out which 540 projects have been implemented, so far”. Head of Board of Directors of Barakat Foundation said.
Emphasizing the fact that all of the entrepreneurial affairs are conducted by the facilitators, Dr. Mahmud Askari Azad said, “Everything advances based on scientific principles and are relied on people, themselves. We are looking for reviving the available capacities and facilities.”
It is necessary to explain that, the completed projects in the Lorestan Province have been succeeded to create new jobs in SAHAB society-based and loans-based entrepreneurial fields through helping certain activities such as breeding livestock and cattle, beekeeping, carpet weaving, mushroom planting and other occupations.
