Establishment of 5,000 Barakat Workshops in deprived districts
The Barakat Foundation, affiliated to Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order, says that 5,000 small and very small workshops have been put to use in deprived and poor districts of the Iranian cities and villages.

The Barakat Foundation’s deputy for social-based job creation affairs, elaborating on the new moves made by that foundation in the field of job creation said that in the (Iranian) year 1401 (began on March 21, 2022), named (by the Supreme Leader) as “The Year for Knowledge-Based Production and Job Creation” this foundation is putting to use 5,000 small and very small workshops in deprived districts and villages of the country, that is in the works to be done agenda of the Barakat Foundation in the field of job creation.

Morteza Niazi added that “we predict that in each of those workshops between 5 to 10 people will be employed directly, or indirectly and putting to use those 5,000 small and very small workshops will create jobs for maximum 50 thousand people”.

 

Speaking about the extent of needed investment for establishing those small and very small workshops, he said that 25,000 billion rials of investments is needed for the implementation of those projects.

Niazi emphasized that these small and very small workshops in addition to creating jobs and boosting production, can also support the small society-based and family-based plans as well.

 

The Barakat Foundation’s deputy for social-based job creation while referring to the facilitating activities of Barakat Foundation said that this year, too, 850 contractors and facilitators of the foundation in deprived districts and villages have identified the job seekers and introduced them to us to receive facilities.

 

According to Niazi, 16,000 villages and 800 deprived districts in the cities throughout Iran are under the supportive umbrella of the job creation deputy of Barakat foundation in the year 1400.

He reiterated that last year the Barakat Foundation implemented 180,000 job creating projects in deprived and poor districts of the country.

 

The Barakat Foundation’s deputy for social-based job creation added that the volume of the required investments for putting to use that many job creation plans is around 200 billion rials, and they will create jobs for 540,000 people directly and indirectly.
