Mr. Jafari, Barakat Foundation’s CEO, an affiliated entity of EIKO, said, “These residential units will be built to provide rural members of IKRF who live in the deprived parts of Ilam, Khuzestan, Sistan-Baluchestan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Western Azarbaijan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiyari, Kohgiluyeh and Boyerahmad, Lorestan, Kerman, Mazandaran, and Gilan Provinces. It has been planned to complete and deliver them within the next 12 months.
Pointing to the average land area of each residential unit in the mentioned agreement as much as 50 sqm, he stated that expense to construct each square meter has been predicted as much as 700000 tomans, so the total cost of each residential unit will be 35 million tomans.
According to CEO of Barakat Foundation, this foundation as the representative of EIKO is committed to conducting commitments of EIKO in this joint project of deprivation eradication and social empowerment. EIKO will contribute in this project through financing and the executive operation of the residential units will be completed by IRGC.
“The residential units will be built in locations which have been announced by IKRF and based on the map which has been provided by it”, he added.
He also said, “Barakat Foundation, as the representative of EIKO, will conduct periodical monitoring, according to the agreement, and after making arrangements with IKF will start to pay the periodical visits to the projects.”
Already, Barakat Foundation has contributed with the Islamic Revolutionary Housing Foundation in the construction of 21500 residential units for the deprived classes, out which 12000 houses have been completed.
