Speaking to a news conference, Feyzollah Pasareh said that Barghon and Garus, Pazin, Takhab, Bidak, Chah Talkh and Busangan water supplying complexes are amongst the most important in-hand projects in this county.

“Thanks to these projects, 1343 people will be covered by the drinking water service. Now, 12 water supplying projects are in hand in the Basht County,” he added.

He also said that these projects include supplying water for Kateh, Manusrabad, Busangan, Khan Ahmad, Barmamian, Chah Talkh, Shadegan, Tal Moyezi, Pazin, Talkhab, Bidak villages, repairing and maintaining and supplying equipment for installation of drinking water of villages in this county.

It is necessary to say that this project is being completed with a credit of more than 42 billion and 453 million rials.

“Out of which, 9 projects will be financed by Barakat Foundation, with a credit of 34 billion and 324 million rials”, he said.

Pasareh opined, “Out of total credit considered for these projects, 13 billion and 500 million rials have been allocated so far.”

“Now, supplying water for 33 villages of this county is being conducted through improving springs and building reservoirs with a credit more than 13 billion and 350 million rials,” he added.

Basht is a county with 24000 people which is located that southeastern part of Kohgiluyeh and Boyerahmad Province, it has 115 villages with 14000 population. It is worthy to say that Basht City with 10000 people is located about 110 km south of Yasuj.
