Pointing to the fact that Barakat Foundation, as the representative of EIKO, has completed 25500 various projects with the cost of 8400 billion Toman, Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO), Dr. Muhammad Mokhber, said, “We have employed all country’s capacities for development and construction purposes, it is so that we have not developed schools and housings by ourselves, but we have taken advantage of available potential of organizations and banks for this purpose.
Speaking to those who gathered in the opening ceremony of 1000th Barakat School, Dr. Mokhber said, “ten years have passed after the issuance of historical order of Ayatollah Khamenei about establishment of Barakat Foundation and the fact is that I cannot express by feelings and emotions. In EIKO, we never would imagine that someday EIKO would achieve such point of social activities.”
“We started from economic empowerment and school building and today we are providing 42 various services in certain fields of social responsibilities and deprivation declining,” he added.
Referring to the fact that job generation is the most pivotal and important task of EIKO and announcing that 322 economic plans have been developed in the deprived areas, he said that we have fulfilled more than 170 cases and recently have started social-based economic projects.
“For the health field, currently we are constructing some new hospitals and completing some unfinished ones. Out of 11 hospitals we have been committed to construct in the deprived areas, seven ones have been delivered, which some of them have been left unfinished for some 20 years”, he said.
Dr. Mokhber also said that EIKO has concluded a contract for constructing 21500 housings through working with the Housing Foundation of Islamic Revolution, out which 60 percent has been completed. Medicines of 60000 patients with cancer have been funded and 60000 housing loans have been granted. More than 3000 infertile couples have been covered for treatment, and more than 110 children have been born from infertile couples.
Head of EIKO said, “We have made useful arrangements to treat deaf children through cochlear implants and today many children have retained their hearing which are the results of Ayatollah Khamenei’s supports and his office.”
“One of most fundamental features of working in the Barakat Foundation is to pay attention to people, people cooperate with us and participate in our projects and we have had 14000 participation requests so far, out which 6000 cases were serious and necessary documents were delivered and it means that we have 12000 billion toman ready to participate by which many works would be done on economic empowerment and job generation,” he added.
Head of EIKO also explained that we need to pay attention to principle 44 of the Constitution and Resistive Economy, whose extraction is that we need to transfer works to people. Our problem in the country is decision making, brevity and courageous to start works.”
Dr. Mokhber said, “If someday state organizations are reviewed in terms of works they didn’t conduct, it will be turned out that the undone works and jobs are considerably more than that was done. Unfortunately, when a director comes and after ten months we see that he/she leaves the organization without being questioned about what has not done, the result will be this that the country is left strayed.”

“We are ready to build the second 1000 schools of Barakat Foundation. Out of 1357 contacted schools, more than 1000 schools are ready to use, we also have targeted 4000 villages, out which 2500 villages have been constructed completely,” he said.
“Working on education is not considered as expense and the best investments must be done there, the education field needs to be invested fundamentally”, he stressed.
He announced we never intend to stay in our projects and we are going to transfer the remaining companies and we don’t want to keep anyone of them and all of them need to go to Stock Market. Unfortunately, there is a cumbersome bureaucracy in official system of our organization which must be overcome.
“Today, the requests recorded by our organization is high and if we transfer the economy to the private sector and the government just determines the policies, then the corruption will be removed,” he said.
