In this mutual meeting, Dr. Mokhber, Head of EIKO, said that the most important philosophy of commemoration of the Islamic Revolution’s anniversary is reviewing both Imam Khomeini and our revolution’s ideals.
“Although there are problems in our country, which most important of them is livelihood and employment, the fact is that many great works have been done in the country after the Islamic Revolution”, he added.
He explained, “Relying the god-send facilities, we can solve the unemployment problem. EIKO is completely server of the deprived areas and everybody can analyze out activities and we are accountable against what we may do. Also, building schools is a part of our mission and the most important mission of EIKO is job generation, as we have succeeded to develop and create 360000 new job opportunities during past years and we have focused our concentration on the deprived areas.”

Pointing to this that the construction operation of the first 1000 Barakat schools with 6000 classrooms and investment sum of 700 billion Tomans has been finished and we presented them to the endeared students living in the less-developed parts of the country, he added, “According to the Leader’s order we intend to start the construction project of the second 1000 schools and today we will announce the plan of constructing 438 schools our of the second 1000 ones. I hope that we would be able to provide our people with 250 to 300 schools by the coming academic year, which it is a great job and we need to invest about 1000 billion Tomans for this great project.”
Referring to the fact that the best investment is found in education and training, he said, “If we would reach a proper education and training and do a proper investment there, certainly we would guarantee the happiness and success of the Islamic system and I think that we would provide our endeared people with the second 1000 schools with the best quality by 2021.”
In respond to a question asked by the press, the head of EIKO said, “As the Minister of Education pointed out, we are determined to provide peripheral spaces of schools in a broader and better condition.”

Dr. Mokhber added, “Within some past years, a movement was started in the EIKO, which was economic empowerment and job generation movement in the deprived and less-developed parts of the country. Moreover, other various activities are carried out in the EIKO, such as implementing infrastructural projects, constructing schools, mosques and cultural centers, hospitals, sanitary and health centers and environment development. Measures such as supporting services rendered to the needy, paying medical costs of cancerous patients, covering orphans, paying interest-free loans, providing dowries, etc. are among other activities of EIKO. However, all of the measures are peripheral and may constitute only 25% of projects of EIKO. The main mission of the EIKO is empowering the deprived areas in terms of economic aspects.”
“If we would solve people’s livelihood problems, the deprived areas will be flourished. It means that people may find jobs, hence their other problems will be solved automatically”, he concluded.
