For this purpose, the inaugural ceremony of 10,000 packages of home appliances was held in Ahvaz, Khuzestan province.
This ceremony was held in the presence of head of EIKO, governor general of Khuzestan province, Friday prayers leader of Ahvaz, and member of Guardian Council and some provincial officials.
Given the above issue, 10,000 packages of essential home appliances including refrigerator, carpet, gas cooker, blanket, and other items were sent to the flood-affected areas of Khuzestan province.
Dr. Mokhber Head of EIKO said, “Leader of the Islamic Revolution is the righteous substitution of the late founding father of the Islamic Revolution the late Imam Khomeini (RA) and administers the country with the same tactics and policy.”
He reiterated, “three years ago, Barakat Foundation, affiliated to EIKO, promised to generate 23,000 employments in this province with the intention of 23,000 martyrs in this southern province.”
Presently, 25,000 jobs have been created in 32 district of this province, he reiterated.
Dr. Mokhber added, “in the outbreak of flood, EIKO was of the first institutions that rushed to help flood-stricken people in a way that more than one million items of immediate and relief aid [including tents, blankets, boots, clothing, mineral water (PET bottle), infant formula, canned foods, etc. were distributed by the Central Headquarters of Jihadi and also 14 relief emergency bases] among flood-hit people.”
What will happen after the flood was the major concern of the EIKO, he said, adding, “for this purpose, we decided to take effective steps after the flood, one of these steps was the distribution of home appliances packages. Accordingly, 10,000 packages of domestically – manufactured home appliances were decided to be distributed among flood-hit people in cooperation and collaboration with the provincial governor general.”
In this regard, 25,000 jobs have been generated in 32 districts of this province by Barakat Foundation, he reiterated.
In the recent devastating flood, EIKO was of the first institutions that attended Khuzestan province in early hours and distributed more than one million relief and rescue items among flood-affected people including tents, blankets, boots, clothing, mineral water (PET bottles), infant formula, canned foods, etc.
Accordingly, 10,000 packages of Iranian-made home appliances will be distributed among flood-affected people in cooperation and coordination with the provincial governor general.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Dr. Mokhber pointed to the cooperation of EIKO with the Housing Foundation of the Islamic Revolution for repairing and renovating 20,000 residential units in the flood-affected areas across the country and added, “with the delivery of goods up by the end of Iranian month of Ordibehesht of the current year, we will materialize our objectives in these regions with regard to the distribution of home appliances and stationeries.”
According to the scheduled program as devised since three years ago, we managed to generate 25,000 jobs in various cities of this province, he stressed.
Inauguration of 1,886 plans according to the job-creation model of Barakat Foundation was the another plan that was unveiled.
Dr. Mokhber pointed to the delivery of 2,000 heads of light animals to villagers and also 10,000 packages of stationeries to the provincial flood-affected people as the other salient measures taken by the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO).
He added, “with the coordination made in this regard, 3,500 direct employments will be generated by the EIKO in different regions of the province using job-generation models of Barakat Foundation.”
If indirect employment opportunities were considered, more than 8,000 employments will be generated by Barakat Foundation, he reiterated.

In the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Jafar Hejazi senior representative of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) in Khuzestan province stated, “according to the statistics of the Housing Foundation, about 10,000 families sustained severe damages in Khuzestan province’s flood.”
In continuation, Dr. GholamrezaShariati Governor General of Khuzestan Province asserted, “the devastating flood inflicted huge damages to the economy of the country. In the early hours of flood, many organizations and philanthropic institutions rushed to help flood-hit people, the number of which was unprecedented in the country after the Sacred Defense.”
Khuzestan province governor general added, “Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) was one of the institutions that contributed greatly to the flood-stricken people of this province.”
He added, “issues after flood and crisis should be taken into serious consideration, so that flood-hit people should not feel desperation. However, donation of these packages will be troubleshooter in this regard.”
