“Construction of these educational units in the Fars Province with the credits and finances provided by the government, benefactor organizations and Barakat Foundation has been started since the last year,” Sarafraz Mouseli, General Director of Fars Province Organization for Development, Renovation and Equipping Schools said.

Emphasizing that 25 percent of educational spaces across the Fars Province need to be secured and improved, he said, “About 7400 schools with 40000 classrooms have been prepared for the inception of the new school year.”

Pointing the fact that within the last year 45 educational spaces were built, renovated or equipped, Sarafraz Mouseli, General Director of Fars Province Organization for Development, Renovation and Equipping Schools said, “Such spaces include 35 schools with 300 classrooms and 36500 sqm educational land area.”

Speaking about the lack of the educational spaces across the Fars Province, Mouseli said, “Currently, there is a need to new educational spaces in Shiraz County, and especially across its satellite towns and pints where immigrants mostly live. And in other parts of the province, we need to build new schools or reconstruct the old ones.”

According to Mouseli, more than 1 billion Tomans credit is required to reconstruct 1800 schools in this province, which would be varied depending on location and inflation.

He also said that more than 250 educational projects have been activated in the Fars Province, which already had been stopped or left incomplete because of lack of credits within previous years.
