All rural houses in Yazd province were completely placed under the insurance support of the Barakat Foundation of the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order.

During the visit of Managing Director of Barakat Foundation Mohammad Torkamaneh to Yazd Province, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Foundation and the governorate of Yazd. With the signing of this MoU, all rural houses in Yazd province were covered by the insurance support of the Barakat Foundation

At the ceremony, Torkamaneh said that Barakat Insurance is affiliated with the Barakat Foundation of the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order to create and expand its full support from the residents of the country's villages and to develop the insurance culture in these areas, and covered all rural houses of Yazd province under the cover of accident insurance including fires, earthquakes, explosions, lightning, floods, river water outbreaks, volcanoes, storms, wind gusts, tornadoes and waste caused by snow and rainwater.

By implementing this plan, Barakat Insurance will pay damages to villagers in the event of earthquakes, floods, fires, and other natural disasters, he underlined.

He noted that in addition to Yazd province, rural houses in various provinces of the country, including Lorestan, Khuzestan, North Khorasan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Kerman, Kordestan, Gilan, Yazd, and Hormuzgan provinces have received insurance support from the Barakat Foundation.

Referring to the Foundation's performance in disaster insurance of rural houses this year, Torkamaneh highlighted that since the beginning of fiscal Iranian calendar year 1401 to now, nearly 463,000 rural houses in six provinces of Khuzestan, Hormozgan, Kordestan, Kerman, Gilan, and Yazd have been covered by Barakat Accident Insurance.

He emphasized Barakat Foundation, due to its mission and to facilitate the implementation of accident insurance in rural houses, participates in paying the premiums of insurance policies issued by the governorates

During a visit to Yazd province, Torkamaneh also met with Ayatollah Naseri Yazdi, representative of the Supreme Leader in the province and Yazd Friday prayers leader, and presented a report on the Foundation's performance in the areas of job creation, economic empowerment, construction and infrastructure in deprived and rural areas of the province.
