For this purpose, Mohammad-JavadAbtahi representative of people of Khomeinishahr in the Parliament met and held talks with the Head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) Dr. Mokhber.

In this get-together meeting, it was decided that EIKO will plan for the generation of employment, eradication of deprivation and enhancement of economic empowerment in this city.

In this regard, an expert-level session was held in Khomeinishahr Governorship in the presence of senior managers of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to EIKO, representative of people of Khomeinishahr in the Parliament and directors of executive and economic organizations of this city.

Also, it was stipulated that the companies interested in investing and participating in the generation of employment should be introduced to the Barakat Foundation.

In this case, the companies willing to invest and participate in the field of generation of employment will be introduced to Parsian Bank, as an operating bank, for receiving a loan.

According to this report, a number of 250 new employment opportunities will be generated in Khomeinishahr in the first phase within the framework of ‘MAHTAB Plan’.

MAHTAB Plan will be implemented as of the beginning of the current Iranian month of Mehr 1397 (Oct. 20) and will finish at the end of the current year.

The social-based ‘MAHTAB’ Plan is focused on the household businesses and professions. Khomeinishahr enjoys high potentials and capabilities in the fields of beekeeping, carpet weaving, handicrafts, and tourism.

Since this city is located near Isfahan province, Khomeinishahr enjoys high potentials in various fields of tourism, ecotourism, handicrafts, etc.
