“EIKO has offered many services in various areas to the deprived people of the country, so far,” Muhammad Mahdi Sakmanzadeh, Golestan Province General Director of EIKO, said.

Speaking in the ceremony held to appreciate servants of Golestan Province and to sign a memorandum of understanding for insuring servants of religious places and holy shrines with the General Directorate of Endowments and Charity Affairs of Golestan Province, Muhammad Mahdi Sakmanzadeh, Golestan Province General Director of EIKO said, “Construction of Fatemeh Zahra Hospital in Minoodasht and construction of 3 healthcare facilities, 8 house of scholars and 55 schools are among plans of EIKO in the Golestan Province which have been completed by Barakat Foundation.”

“Gas supplying to deprived people, helping to treat patients, supporting orphans, etc. ate other activities which have been put atop agenda of EIKO. Also, a 16-classroom school, which has been built by Barakat Foundation, will be opened by the Governor General during the Endowment Week of the current year,” he added.

In this ceremony, Kaviani, the Insurance In-charge of Northern Zone of the country announced about coverage of 1400 servants of mosques by the complementary insurance policy.

“With signing a memorandum of understanding with the General Directorate of Endowments and Charity Affairs of Golestan Province, 1400 mosque servants will be covered by a complementary insurance policy in the first phase”, he said.

“Such medical packages have been considered for the servants with comprehensive and sufficient commitments and with the lowest expense and special consideration. We are trying to extend this comprehensive coverage to 20000 people in order to be able to bestow sufficient supports in limited surgery and outpatients fields.” He added.

“In the MOU signed between General Directorate of Endowments and Charity Affairs of Golestan Province and Barakat Foundation, five insurance services in various fields of complementary insurance policy, accidents for holy shrines and mosques, civil commitment insurance of trustees board, head of trustees boards and holy shrines as well as car insurance and servants insurance will be covered,” Salmanzadeh explained.

“Under the accidents insurance policy, all mosques and holy shrines will be insured against the natural and unexpected accidents with the lowest price,” he said.

To conclude his remarks, Kaviani said, “Another insurance coverage is fire insurance for houses of servants and board members of mosques and holy shrines who will be covered by this service.”
